The 2007-08 Season was our 40th, and it was a memorable one. Special highlights included our Season Opener, where we dedicated Kewaskum's new community auditorium; another successful Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, hosted by West Bend Mutual Insurance; the opportunity to accompany the touring Irish band, "Colcannon"; and KMS Big Band again provided dance music for the Citizen Advocacy of Washington County's fundraiser at the Chandelier Ballroom. We are grateful to our audience and sponsors for making our efforts worthwhile and appreciated.

6th Annual Garden Concert
at Lamm's Garden Center, Jackson
Sunday, August 3, 2008
Join the KMS wind players and guests, as we fill the air at Lamm's Garden Center with lively band tunes, marches, musical medleys, and more. Enjoy the gardens, train collection, and bridges while you browse Lamm's nursery and perennials. Or, rest in the shade of the tent and watch the band perform. Gates open at noon, and music begins at 1:00. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $2 for children 12 and under. Tickets will be available at the gate, or in advance at two M & I Bank locations, downtown West Bend and Jackson.

White House Tour
KMS will be performing at the White House Exhibit event taking place at the Washington County Fair Park on October 4-21, 2008. Exact date and time of our performance is still to be determined - check back here for updates!
The Kettle Moraine Symphony was founded in 1968 as the Moraine Symphony Orchestra by its current Music Director, Albert (Bud) Asch and a group of classical music enthusiasts, and was sponsored by University of Wisconsin - Washington County in West Bend.
KMS currently boasts a roster of about 60 semi-professional playing personnel who come from over 20 communities in and around the Kettle Moraine area of Wisconsin. We appreciate the able assistance of a dedicated Board of Directors. The orchestra's home stage is in the beautiful Schauer Arts and Activities Center in Hartford, Wisconsin. Other performance venues include Holy Angels Church and Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in West Bend, with Hartford Middle School hosting the children's concert this year.
Tickets are generally $15 and $12/students & seniors. Call for large group rates. Children may attend any concert for $5, and the Children's Concert for $2. (Adult admission to the Children's Concert is $5.) Please call, write or email the KMS Office to place ticket orders. You will find our contact information at the bottom of this page.
